To a little honeybee a flower is not just a flower. You may think planting flowers will feed the bees, in a short answer yes! However, every plant is very specific whether it provides nectar or pollen. Honenybees are so tapped into their own ecosystem, they have a systematic approach of what and when they collect. We started "keeping" honeybees a few years back. We have learned much along the way, but the complexity of these little guys and gals sometimes leaves us scratching our heads. We have made conscious efforts to responsibly plant for their sake as well as ours! It seems like the two are very connected. 🌎
